Butter

Located in the NoHo neighborhood of New York City, this chic restaurant and part nightclub has been getting attention from foodies as well as television producers. Alexandra Guarnaschelli, a food network personality and well-known figure in the culinary world, has brought this place incredible media attention being featured on shows such as the CW hit Gossip Girl
Upon entry, the wood paneled hall leads to a simple yet elegant high-ceiling dining room. You will find yourself attended to rather quickly and presented a enticing menu of appetizers, entrées, and appetizers. It is also accompanied by an extensive wine selection and specialty cocktails that compliments the dishes. To start off, the chef gave me and my friends a complimentary appetizer of chicken liver pâté and it was sweet and surprisingly delicious. I then ordered the Braised Colorado Lamb Shank spiced almond with braised turnips, truffle, and arugula which was satisfying. I wish the lamb was not as cooked but it was easy to take off the bone. Overall the experience and ambience alone was worth the trip. And with delicious food and drinks, I would highly recommend a visit if you're ever in the city.
